PostgreSQL でインデックスが張られていない外部キーを探す
PostgreSQL でインデックスが張られていない外部キーがあると、クエリーを実行した際にとてつもなく遅い場合があります。そのような場合、大規模なデータベースだと1つ1つの参照元テーブルと被参照テーブルの両方をチェックしていてはキリがありません。そのような場合には下記の SQL で外部キーにインデックスが張られていない列を検出してみましょう。

上記 SQL を実行した結果、"suggestion" という列に "CREATE INDEX" 文を表示してくれるのでとっても便利ですね。
データベース管理者であれば、システム開発中は頻繁に確認する必要がありますので以下のようにビューを作っておくと楽です。
